A rich and decadent chocolate cake perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 300 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar

Instructions:

1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and mix well.
4. Sift in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla sugar. Gently fold until combined.
5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes. The cake is done when the surface is domed and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with chocolate frosting.
