Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave, mixing well.
3. Stir the sugar into the melted chocolate mixture until smooth.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. Mix in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt until the batter is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is set on top but slightly moist in the center.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream.
