Ingredients:

- 400 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 150 g bacon or pancetta, diced
- 3 eggs
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the bacon. Cook until crispy.
3. Add the minced garlic to the bacon and sauté for an additional minute.
4. In a bowl, crack the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir well.
5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it, reserving a bit of the cooking water. Add the pasta to the skillet with the bacon and garlic.
6. Remove the skillet from heat and quickly add the egg and cheese mixture to the pasta, stirring rapidly to prevent the eggs from scrambling. If needed, add a little reserved cooking water for a creamy consistency.
7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
