Delicious and healthy snacks made from nut butter and oats, perfect for coffee breaks or snacking. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: About 12 cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup nut butter - 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).2. In a bowl, mix the nut butter, sugar, and egg until well combined.
3. Add the rolled oats, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
4. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten the balls slightly.
5. Bake the cookies in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, until they are golden brown.
6. Allow to cool on the sheet for a moment before serving.
