Ingredients
- 300 g dark chocolate (70%)- 8 large eggs
Instructions
1. Melt about 250 g of the dark chocolate in a double boiler. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.2. Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
3. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form, ensuring the mixture is so firm that it doesn't move when the bowl is turned upside down.
4. Combine the egg yolks with the cooled chocolate, mixing well until you have a smooth "batter."
5. Gently fold in 3-6 tablespoons of the egg white mixture to lighten the batter.
6. Carefully fold in the remaining egg whites to maintain the fluffiness of the mixture.
7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
