Ingredients:
- 300 g spaghetti
- 200 g peeled shrimp
- 150 g cleaned mussels
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 100 ml white wine
- 200 ml cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Lemon juice, for serving
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for a few minutes.
3. Add shrimp and mussels to the skillet. Cook until the shrimp are pink and the mussels open.
4. Pour the white wine into the skillet and let it simmer until the alcohol evaporates.
5. Stir in the cream and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Combine the cooked spaghetti with the sauce. Add some reserved cooking water if needed to keep the pasta saucy.
7. Serve the dishes garnished with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice.
