Ingredients:
- 400 g ground beef- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 dl mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 small red onion, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Lettuce (e.g., iceberg lettuce)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add oil.2. Shape the ground beef into four patties and season with salt and pepper.
3. Cook the patties in the pan for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are cooked through.
4. Place cheddar cheese slices on top of the patties and cover the pan for a moment to let the cheese melt.
5. Meanwhile, lightly toast the hamburger buns in the pan.
6. Prepare the sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, and Dijon mustard in a bowl.
7. Assemble the burgers: Start with the bottom bun, then add the cheese-covered patty, red onion, tomato, avocado, and lettuce. Finally, add the sauce and top with the upper bun.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
