recipe

A delicious recipe that brings the festival vibe to your home, perfect for both everyday meals and special occasions.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or thyme) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips.
2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for about 15 minutes. This helps remove starch and makes the fries crispier.
3. Drain the potatoes and dry them well with a kitchen towel.
4. Place the potatoes in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, minced garlic, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C for convection).
6. Spread the seasoned potatoes evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure the potatoes are not overlapping.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the fries are golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through the baking time.
8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
