A delicious chocolate-filled cake perfect for special occasions or treat days. This recipe makes a small cake for a 20 cm pan, serving 12 small pieces.

Ingredients

Crust:
- 50 g butter
- 1/4 dl sugar
- 1/3 egg
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Filling:
- 1 dl heavy cream
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 100 g cream cheese
- 125 g quark
- 1 tsp grated orange zest
- 150 g Fazerina chocolate
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 2 gelatin sheets
Topping:
- 50 g Fazerina chocolate
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
Garnish:
- Just under 1 dl heavy cream
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/3 tbsp cocoa powder
- Dark chocolate

Instructions

1. Prepare the crust: Beat softened butter and sugar together for a moment. Add the egg while whisking vigorously. Mix the flour together and add it to the batter.
2. Line the bottom of a springform pan (20 cm) with parchment paper and press the dough onto the paper.
3. Bake the crust at 175°C for about 20 minutes.
4. Prepare the filling: Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water to soften.
5. Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff, then place it in the refrigerator for a moment.
6. In a saucepan, heat the orange juice and dissolve the gelatin sheets in the juice. Let it cool slightly.
7. Soften the cream cheese and mix it with the quark, melted Fazerina chocolate, and the orange-gelatin mixture.
8. Add the grated orange zest and whipped cream. Check the sweetness of the filling.
9. Pour the filling over the cooled crust, smooth it out, and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
10. Prepare the chocolate topping: In a saucepan, combine the cream and Fazerina chocolate and heat gently until the chocolate melts. Remove the cake from the pan and pour the topping over it. Chill the cake again.
11. For the chocolate whipped cream garnish, add powdered sugar and cocoa powder to the whipped cream and whip until fluffy.
12. Optionally, create chocolate decorations by piping melted chocolate onto parchment paper.
