Ingredients:
- Zest of 1 organic orange
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened dark cocoa powder
- 200 ml almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
- 200 ml water
- Sweetener to taste (e.g., stevia or erythritol)
- A pinch of salt
- Vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
1. Zest the orange and set it aside.
2. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and add cocoa powder along with a pinch of salt. Mix well.
3. Pour in the almond milk and stir until the mixture is smooth.
4. Add the orange zest and sweetener to taste. If using vanilla extract, add it now.
5. Heat the mixture for a short while but do not let it boil.
6. Pour the cocoa into a mug and enjoy it warm.
