Serving size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g ground almonds
- 150 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g butter (melted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
2. In a bowl, mix the ground almonds, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Pour in the melted butter and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
6. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, until the cake is golden brown and cooked through.
7. Allow to cool before serving. Dust with powdered sugar for decoration.
