A hearty and nutritious oatmeal recipe perfect for breakfast. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 liter of water
- 4 dl regular rolled oats
- ½-1 teaspoon salt
- ½ package of mixed dried fruits
- ½ dl bran
Instructions:
1. Bring the water to a boil in a pot.
2. Add the rolled oats and salt to the boiling water.
3. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 5-10 minutes, until the oatmeal reaches your desired consistency.
4. Stir in the mixed dried fruits and bran.
5. Let the oatmeal sit for a few minutes before serving.
6. Serve warm with your choice of toppings, such as berries or honey.
