These delicious oat apple muffins are a perfect snack that is both nutritious and tasty. They are great for breakfast or as a treat. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups bran flakes - 2 cups low-fat milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp gingerbread spice
- 1 cup grated apple
- ½ cup sugar (optional)
- 1 cup oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a muffin tin or use paper muffin liners. 2. In a bowl, mix the bran flakes, all-purpose flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, gingerbread spice, and sugar.
3. Add the milk and oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a smooth batter forms.
4. Fold in the grated apple and mix well.
5. Divide the batter into the muffin liners, filling each about ⅔ full.
6. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and cooked through.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
