Ingredients

- 400 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 150 g fresh basil
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- 3 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve some of the cooking water.
2. Chop the cherry tomatoes and garlic. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and add the garlic. Sauté for a few minutes.
3. Add the tomatoes to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well. If needed, add a bit of the reserved cooking water to prevent the pasta from drying out.
5. Tear the fresh basil and mix it into the pasta. Season with salt and black pepper.
6. Serve the pasta in bowls and grate Parmesan cheese on top.
