This classic Italian pasta carbonara is a quick and delicious dish that can be made in under 30 minutes. Pasta, bacon, and cream come together for a flavorful meal that brings the tastes of Rome to your table. Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 400 g spaghetti
- 150 g bacon or pancetta
- 2 eggs
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
2. Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the bacon or pancetta. Cook until crispy.
3. Add the minced garlic to the bacon and sauté for an additional minute.
4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan cheese, cream, salt, and black pepper.
5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and reserve a little of the cooking water. Add the pasta to the skillet with the bacon and garlic.
6. Remove the skillet from the heat and add the egg mixture to the pasta. Stir quickly to prevent the eggs from scrambling. If needed, add a little reserved cooking water to create a creamy consistency.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
