This delicious apple pie is quick and effortless to make in one bowl. It's perfect for coffee gatherings and pairs wonderfully with vanilla sauce or ice cream. Preparation Time: 35 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs - 1 cup sugar
- 7 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup milk, buttermilk, or yogurt
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 5 small apples (peeled and chopped)
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions:
1. Whisk the eggs until well beaten. Mix in the sugar, melted butter, and milk.2. Add the flour along with the baking powder and vanilla sugar. Stir until the batter is smooth and spread it into a greased pie pan (10 inches).
3. Peel and chop the apples into small wedges and press them into the batter. Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar on top.
4. Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes. Serve with vanilla sauce or vanilla ice cream.
