A festive and delicious side dish that adds sophistication to any meal. These are a modified version of mashed potatoes, beautifully piped and baked to a golden brown. Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 kg potatoes - 100 g butter
- 2 dl milk
- 2 eggs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- (Optional) Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in salted water until soft. 2. Drain the potatoes and mash them until smooth.
3. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until the mixture is smooth. If desired, add grated Parmesan cheese.
5. Transfer the potato mixture to a piping bag and pipe round shapes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are beautifully golden brown.
7. Serve warm.
