A festive and delicious side dish that adds sophistication to any meal. These piped potatoes are shaped beautifully and baked to a golden brown.

Serving Size: 4–6 servings

Ingredients:

- 1 kg potatoes
- 100 g butter
- 1 dl cream
- 2 eggs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Ground nutmeg (optional)
- For topping: Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water until soft.
2. Drain the potatoes and mash them until smooth.
3. Add butter, cream, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.
4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
6. Pipe shapes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, such as star-shaped mounds.
7. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 20-25 minutes or until they are beautifully golden brown.
8. Serve warm as a side dish.
