Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and combined.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated in the sauce.
