Ingredients:
- 200 g pasta (such as spaghetti)
- 100 g bacon or pancetta
- 2 eggs
- 50 g Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions.
2. Chop the bacon or pancetta into small pieces and fry in a pan until crispy.
3. Add the minced garlic to the bacon and cook for an additional minute.
4. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper.
5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and reserve a little pasta water.
6. Add the hot pasta to the pan with the bacon and garlic.
7. Remove the pan from the heat and mix in the egg mixture, adding reserved pasta water as needed for a creamy sauce.
8. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!
