Ingredients:

- 400 g spaghetti
- 150 g bacon or guanciale
- 3 eggs
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- Salt
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve a little pasta water.
2. Chop the bacon or guanciale into small pieces and fry in a pan over medium heat until crispy. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
3. Meanwhile, whisk the eggs in a bowl and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper.
4. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and immediately add it to the pan with the bacon. Mix well to combine the flavors.
5. Remove the pan from heat and pour the egg mixture over the pasta. Stir quickly to ensure the eggs cook lightly and create a creamy sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired sauce consistency.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
