These oatmeal cookies are sweet and crunchy, perfect for coffee breaks or as a snack. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 20 cookies
Ingredients:
- 100 g butter or margarine- 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 dl rolled oats
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).2. Beat the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the egg and mix well.
4. In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, vanilla sugar, and baking powder.
5. Mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until smooth.
6. Stir in the chocolate chips if desired.
7. Drop small spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a moment before transferring them to a wire rack.
