Ingredients:
- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes soften and release their juices.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet with the tomato mixture. Add the chopped basil and mix well to combine.
5. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
