This delicious dandelion jelly is a perfect addition to your breakfast table or as a dessert. It's easy to make and provides a delightful experience utilizing nature's bounty.
Preparation Time: 1 hour + overnight in the refrigerator
Serving Size: About 1 liter
Ingredients:
- 3 liters of dandelion yellow petals
- 3 liters of water
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 300 grams of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of yeast
Instructions:
1. Rinse the dandelion petals thoroughly in cold water and remove any debris.
2. Boil the dandelion petals and water in a pot for about 30 minutes. Let the mixture cool.
3. Strain the liquid away from the petals and measure it back into the pot.
4. Squeeze the juice of the orange and lemon into the pot. Add the sugar and mix well.
5. Heat the mixture over low heat until the sugar dissolves, but do not boil.
6. Add the yeast to the mixture and stir. Cover the pot with a cloth and let it ferment at room temperature for about 12 hours.
7. Pour the jelly into clean jars and store it in the refrigerator.
