A delicious chocolate cake with crunchy Daim chocolate pieces. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 30-40 minutes
Serving Size: 10 slices
Ingredients:
- 4 dl sugar
- 200 g soft butter
- 3 eggs
- 1.5 dl milk
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 5 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 100 g Daim chocolate (chopped)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. In a bowl, cream together the soft butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Pour in the milk and mix until combined.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the batter, mixing until smooth.
6. Fold in the chopped Daim chocolate until evenly distributed.
7. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
8. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
