Delicious Dacapo banana cupcakes that combine ripe bananas and chocolate into a delightful treat. Perfect for a sweet snack or dessert! Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12 cupcakes
Ingredients:
- 2-3 ripe bananas (about 350 g)- 1 package (130 g) Fazer DaCapo chocolate pieces
- 100 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1/2 dl dark cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Frosting:
- 1 package (130 g) Fazer DaCapo chocolate pieces
- 25 g butter
Instructions:
1. Mash the peeled bananas with a fork and chop the chocolate pieces.2. Cream the room temperature butter and sugar together. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients and sift the flour mixture into the batter. Gently fold in the mashed bananas and chopped chocolate.
4. Spoon the batter into greased and floured muffin tins or cupcake liners. Bake in an oven preheated to 175°C (350°F) for 50-55 minutes on the lower rack.
5. Melt the chocolate pieces and butter on low heat in the microwave or a saucepan. Spread the chocolate mixture over the slightly cooled cupcakes and decorate with chocolate shavings if desired.
