Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) fettuccine or your choice of pasta
- 2 cups (150 g) sliced mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup (15 g) fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the creamy mushroom sauce.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
