A delicious and quick pasta dish featuring a creamy spinach sauce and al dente pasta, perfect for a weeknight dinner!

Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g. spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
4. Add fresh spinach to the pan and cook until wilted.
5. Pour in the cream and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
6. Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce. Add reserved cooking water if the sauce is too thick.
7. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
8. Serve the dish garnished with fresh basil if desired.
