Ingredients:

- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Grated lemon zest (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and save a bit of the cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until golden brown.
3. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until it wilts and softens.
4. Pour the cream into the skillet and mix well. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts into the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved cooking water.
6. Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon zest to taste.
7. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce. Serve immediately.
