Creamy Spinach Pasta

A delicious pasta dish with a creamy spinach sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight meal. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (such as spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little pasta cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add fresh spinach to the pan and cook until wilted.
4. Pour the heavy cream into the pan and mix well. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Mix until the cheese has melted.
6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Serve the pasta warm, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
