Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine or spaghetti according to package instructions in salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
3. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
4. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.
5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the creamy sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
