Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and dried herbs, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy sauce until well coated.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
