Ingredients:
- 12 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
3. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
4. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy garlic sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
