Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) spaghetti - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
4. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
