Ingredients:
- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, making sure it doesn't burn.
3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir continuously for about 2-3 minutes until the cream thickens slightly.
4. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
