Ingredients:
- 12 oz (340g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and Italian herbs. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
5. Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy sauce until well coated.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
