Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir continuously for about 2-3 minutes.
4. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
