Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) spaghetti or fettuccine - 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti or fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
4. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
5. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
