Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce.
