Ingredients:
- 8 oz pasta of your choice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cups sliced mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden and tender.
3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and add the dried thyme. Stir well and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
