Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, and toss to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.
7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
