Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta of your choice - 2 cups (150 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy mushroom sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
