Ingredients:

- 8 oz (225g) pasta (such as fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown.
3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
