Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated in the sauce.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
