Ingredients:

- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are golden brown and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
