Ingredients:

- 8 oz (225 g) fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are browned and tender.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy sauce.
7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
