Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are golden brown and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
