Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring well.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
