Ingredients:

- 8 oz (225g) fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are soft and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the sauce.
9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
