A delicious and easy pasta dish featuring a creamy garlic mushroom sauce.

Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) fettuccine or spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine or spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are golden brown and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well to combine.
5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and the sauce is creamy.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated.
8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
